Feed your body the fuel it needs. Do athletes starve themselves? No, of course not, they fuel their bodies with nutrients. The following recipe is a great in between meals snack that is also a great option for kids. 4 small apples 3 tbsp water 4 tbsp ground walnuts or almonds Ground cinnamon to taste 1 cup 1% or 2% cottage cheese
Cut each apple into eighths, discarding the core. Coat the pan with nonstick spray and saute the apples in water until soft yet still crisp. Top with cinnamon and nuts and serve with 1/2 cup of cottage cheese.
