It seems only right that my first post should be where my weight loss journey started, and with my first before and after picture. The first image is from the summer of 2009, on a trip to Tennessee. I hadn’t even realized that I had gotten so big. Shortly after this trip was when I found out I could no longer fit into any of my American Eagle jeans (my favorite brand). That was the last straw for me. I broke up with my boyfriend, who I realized had been enabling a lot of my bad habits, made a whole new group of friends, and by Halloween of that year I had lost 50 lbs. I’ve managed to keep most of that off, give or take a couple pounds, and the second picture is me on my 21st birthday last year. I’m now 173lbs. While I’m confident in my body (I have great tits, I’m well proportioned, and I know how to properly dress myself) one thing I’ve always wanted is to be “skinny”. Not skinny-skinny, but fit and toned. I’ve spent weeks looking at other weight loss blogs and figured I’d finally make one of my own. So, here we go!
